I love how the recipes are setup to teach you how to utilize everything you buy for the week. I use to be so wasteful with food, but now thanks to this incredible book, I won't be anymore! The best part is, I love every singe recipe in here! Malia did an awesome job creating food that is incredibly good, creative, and yet easy to make. I am currently not even working a 9-5 job, but I still have a busy life and this has been my saving grace. As I follow along her 'prep day' I feel as if Malia is right there with me in my kitchen! She just makes the daunting tasks that I use to dread seem fun and easy, and I now look forward to cooking at home. I love all the inspiring pictures, her personality shines throughout the book, and her creativity is amazing. I rarely write recommendations but this was something I had to share. The beautiful, inspiring photos along with the knowledge, tips & tricks that Malia shares is priceless...like I said, game changer! :)Thank you, Malia for this incredible book!

Silvers I also backed this cook book/meal planner on Kickstarter and watched how much Malia thoughtfully listened to suggestions from people from all walks of life. Her book turned out quite amazing. It's a fine "tool" for helping people make healthy eating choices that also allow them to wisely use their money and time. My copy will go to my niece--a doctor at a clinic serving working class expectant moms who need help making healthy food choices. I know that as a busy mom with two kids, my niece will enjoy the book and will also use it as a guide to help her patients. I should point out that Malia is a fine human being with lots of humanistic energy for doing this project in order to encourage busy and/or beginning cooks into taking positive directions and better control of their diets.

As a working mother it's easy to struggle with finding time to cook quality food for the family - this book has been a life saver! The author takes you through the whole process - from going to the grocery store (there's even printable grocery lists on the Food That Works site) to the prep work once you're home...and finally executing the recipes. The author takes all the guess work out for you....the book could be called, "Feeding your family healthy food for dummies". The author's sense of humor is refreshing...I feel like I'm hanging out with my best friend in the kitchen. Thank you Malia Dell for my kitchen survival book - my family thanks you too!
