It’s full of practical examples and explanations taken from the author’s own life and the lives of her students. (In what other spiritual book would you find a deeper meaning of mistaken paint finishes? You have to read it to see what I mean!) The wisdom is age-old but the way that Dr. De Angelis is able to interpret and illuminate these ancient principles is truly refreshing. Hers is a much-needed voice and light in a very crowded world of personal development and spiritual teaching.As I was reading this book, I found myself smiling involuntarily in places where I thought, “OK, so there is hope, I’m not alone in feeling this way.” I wept with respect and awe and deep gratitude in other places. I exhaled breaths that have been so long held trying to just act differently, be more positive, smile more, tell myself I shouldn’t feel something.Soul Shifts is the owner’s manual we all wish we were born with. It’s that applicable to any and every situation life could possibly throw at us. It answers so many questions I would constantly ask myself: Why do I get so angry? A Fabulous Book Of Life Changing Wisdom - Learn to Transform From The Inside Out By Loretta Berryman I have been a seeker for most of my life and have shelves and shelves of self-help books. This book, Soul Shifts, is more than a self-help book. It is a vibrational download of transformational wisdom offered by Dr. Barbara De Angelis, who in my opinion is the best spiritual teacher of modern time. Her wisdom is practical and down to earth. Soul Shifts is written for real people living in the real world, and is written in such a way that it helps us shift our perceptions of what we have viewed as our reality.I have read all of Barbara De Angelis's best selling books, and all are phenomenal. This one has touched the deepest part of my soul. It has helped me find parts of myself that I had forgotten were there...my confidence, my courage, my wisdom, my knowingness, my love, my compassion...
