About the Author Robert Bernardini, M.S. has researched and written on health issues for 15 years. He has a B.S. in Biology (premed) from Florida State University and a Master of Science from Virginia Tech. He also spent a year of study at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine and worked as an Environmental Engineer for seven years. His broad base of expertise in medical and scientific subjects has helped him to realize the true causes of and solutions to many of our health challenges. He is author of six children’s books and is a person of varied interests-- philosophy, golf, photography, science, nutrition, and the environment. He says, "writing is special because it's the one that gives me the most satisfaction and allows me to connect with people, especially children."

By Maureen With all of the books out there about children's health, and all of the confusing, misguided, politically or "ethically" correct misinformation, it is great to finally read a book based on sound principles. This is not a bunch of feel-goody poppy cock, but advice based on good science and human history. Did you know there has never, in all of history, been a society that raised their children without the benefit of animal foods and plenty of saturated fat? So how ethical is it to deprive children of the very nutrients they need for every facet of their health? Follow the principles in this book and your children will grow to be strong, healthy indivduals!

Optimal Health and well being for today's child By Dawn Blacklidge I recommend this book to ALL parents!I wish I would have had this information when my daughter was youngI am on the "same page" with this information and practicing it now with myself and my clients and boot campers at the body temple boot camp ( [...] and seen on you tube under body temple boot camp)but to have the information especially geared for infants and children is Awesomedevelop and maintain optimal health to prevent disease.....and reverse disease through nutrition!!

I love how he is very straight forward, he also puts all the evidence and specific studies in there. If only the epa and the rest of the government would look back at their previous findings and fix some things they should have a long time about. I believe every health professional should have to read this book (among others) Great great book
