It came along at the perfect time for me in my "slowbriety" journey as I have preferred to avoid AA for now and it has worked well. This book, and the book that follows are daily reads for me! By Michael Kevin has been a powerful tool in helping those that have come to realize how bad alcohol affects their mind, body, and spirit and in turn their life. Having struggled himself for years and then to have successfully dropped the drink and embraced life while helping others do the same is inspirational to say the least. This new book builds on hisnother incredible books and top notch videos and support groups and helps in a powerful way by giving ideas of what to do now that you ate building a more powerful life AF! Some awesome strategies and thought-starters here. I listen to the audio book on Audible every night to fall asleep, and since it's Audible, there are no tracks - if I stir or slightly wake, I'm usually at a point in the book that I have not heard before. I find it very helpful and empowering on this AF journey. Thank you, Kevin!!
