0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. A Quick Read But Needs Work By Melissa Heiser I give credit to the author as its not easy getting a book together, it was a quick read however. The recommendations for various food groups are solid but the free meal plan may not be for everyone. The breakfasts really bulk up on the fiber plus recommending fruit juices which sure they are high in calories but also high in sugar. Lots of fiber means meeting your water quota and then some. I'd put in there: Mango, Grapes, Granny Smith Apples, Plantains, Figs as a substitution. Its very general, so would have liked to have seen before and afters, a more personal journey, it cover lots of text book 'work out the muscles and less cardio' however even us skinny gals can have heart disease from eating poorly (raises hand) and become pre-diabetic. Good luck tho and good start.

There were very helpful techniques for doing certain exercises to build a little muscle in certain areas. I enjoyed learning about the different food choices to use as well as certain combinations to eat during the day. What I like most about the book is that it was short and to the point, and as a result I was able to get started right away. Thank you for sharing your wonderful and timing experience.
