They were everything I look for while reading a book. Their story was beautiful. I loved that they acted mature & didn't have all of the silly misunderstanding that some books have. No TSTL moments. All the side stories were interesting. I was never bored or felt the need to skip parts. At first I didn't understand why Betsy (love her character) wasn't remembering more & then I realized the story must continue in another book. I HATE that I have to wait so long for it. Going to go preorder now. Can't wait!!!

By Loves Books WWBB This is the first book that I have read by author Sharon Sala and I must say she now has a new fan. Wild Hearts was fantastic to say the least. In my opinion there is nothing better than an excellent love story mixed with suspense and mystery.In this first installment of Secrets and Lies we meet many pivotal characters and the scene is expertly set. We are introduced to Dallas and Trey, lovers who took different paths in life when they were young but are brought back together under dire circumstances. Will their love be rekindled or will something or someone come between them?I instantly connect with Dallas’s character and my heart broke for her. She misses her father and will not believe that he took his own life. There are many twists and turns in this story but the tenacity that Dallas has will have you standing behind her convictions.Trey is the boy Dallas fell in love with so long ago. Will he believe in Dallas? Does he still love her? Can he protect her? You really need to read this amazing story for yourself and see how things turn out.A couple quotes that really stood out for me:Dallas:“Every kiss he gave her seared her skin, marked her soul. She wanted to catch fire in his arms.”Trey:“When you hurt, I bleed, and time hasn’t changed that.”This was a wonderful story of not just suspense and mystery, but of love, family and coming home. I highly recommend this wonderful book and hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Personally I cannot wait for the next book in this series.*I was given a copy via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
6 of 6 people found the following review helpful. Another great book by Sharon Sala! By Denise Rivers This is the first of a new trilogy and cannot wait for the next installment. Romantic suspense at its best.The story is believable and kept me guessing throughout. I definitely was cheering for Dallas and Trey. I liked how there was the killer's point of view, but she left you hanging about who the killer was. It took me three days -- but only because work interrupted my reading.I highly recommend this book, whether it's your first Sharon Sala book or your twentieth.
