Breathtakingly awesome new knowledge from the frontiers of biophysics brilliantly described By Randy Mack Jim Oschman's work is The Reference Book for scientists, medical professionals, as well as the intelligently informed layperson who is genuinely interested in the science of human energetics. He has written a lucid, highly referenced account of the current understanding of the role of energy in human and all other life. The unfolding story is fascinating and awe inspiring as it practically begs for further research into the evolving medicine of the future. Unfortunately the dominance of the pharmaceutical industry in medical education and social policies will hinder funding for such research even as many anatomical and physiological assumptions are shown to be grossly inadequate for explaining what happens everyday in living organisms. Many questions are raised and a surprising number are answered or at least moved to further questions not dreamed of by the majority of medical professionals.Jim Oschman is confidant enough to urge scientists to listen to what healers in ancient and emerging modalities know about the body from their sensitive interactions with their clients. How gratifying to finally have scientifically solid evidence for processes that have up to now been largely ignored or ridiculed.I hope that the author and many of us of his generation live long enough to see and benefit from the fruition of the ideas presented here as they enter the mainstream and bring degrees of healing currently unimaginable.

By Brandon Spencer It can be a heavy read for some, and I know I learned a lot, and have not even grasped a full understanding of most of the concepts!I am no scientist in the formal sense, but when has formality ever truly mattered when one has curiosity and the will to know? I have spent hours of my life every week reading about topics of this nature. I can definitely say that this book has brought to my attention many other things that I would not have noticed sooner. My perspective has been broadened. It is highly likely that I will spend the rest of my life studying things within this realm, and other realms as well, because if anything, I've noticed that the greatest illusion of this world is the illusion of separation. Things you think are separate and different are actually one and the same.If you want to expand your UMWELT (OOMVELT(in ethology) the world as it is experienced by a particular organism.)-Then I highly recommend this book!
